Hi Everyone. So this is it! My very first Real Estate Blog. I am afraid this one is not going to be deeply intellectual and insightful for you as I believe in being honest, and in the spirit of "honesty" I have to tell I am really just entering this text to make sure everything is up and running properly :-) There are some icons for Twitter, Facebook, etc., that may not be working right yet either, I just started connecting everything today so give me a few days and we will be in business! Hopefully I can woo you with my profound words of wisdom at some point in the future. The reality is, however, that this blog may never be profoundly deep. I think that any Realtor who has time to be crafting deep works of literature has way too much time on his/her hands. I am a down to earth kinda guy. I am a total professional and have proven myself in the corporate world. In my last "corporate" position I was a respected "Director of Client Projects" for the World's Largest Mutual Fund Company. Eventually I got smart and realized that if I am driven to be a workaholic I may as well be a wokaholic for myself. Soooo...about a decade ago I made the big jump. Gave my employer three months notice and started my venture into Real Estate. The suits and ties went out the window and now I try to look respectable but my focus is on my work and not my clothes :-) So I am the kinda guy who will be showing you properties in casual attire. I love jeans and a t-shirt but will do my best not to embarass you if you decide to work with me :-) I think casual clothes are more honest and that is what I try to be. An honest, hard working guy who does everything he can to keep his clients for life. So far it has worked! Ok. I am babbling now so I will close off by saying a quick word about the Toronto Real Estate Market! It is still nuts! A week or so ago I had the privilidge of speaking on five different CBC radio shows about the market and the topic of the day which was "How To Find A Good Realtor". Obviously I think the answer is "pick me!" LOL. Seriously though it was a good discussion and I will see if I can get a recording of one of the shows from CBC to put on my site. In the meantime you will find on my site a link to a previous CBC radio show I did called "Metro Morning" . Although that clip was recorded last October I listened to it again this morning and not much has changed. I hope you enjoy it.
